441 Ninth Avenue, NYC

The 441Ninth Avenue project is a major transformation of a former eight-story warehouse, now an office building, that was originally built in 1962. An additional 17 floors will be added atop the black masonry-clad tower, bringing 700,000 square feet of new office space to the neighborhood. It sits one block north from the 34 Street–Penn Station subway stop and the new Moynihan Station expansion. The new 300,000 square foot addition, starting on the ninth level, will include varying floor layouts and ceiling heights ranging from 14 to 28 feet, enclosed in an all-glass facade with stepped setbacks that will yield 14 outdoor terraces and balconies at different elevations.
