The Brearley School is a 135-year old institution that was first established in 1884 as an K-12 independent school for girls in New York City. As the school has grown over the years, so has the need for space and services. J.C. Steel Erectors was there to help construct a new 12-story structure on the school’s existing location at East 83rd Street in New York City. The project included:

  • The construction of an 83,750 square foot facility

  • Science labs

  • Auditorium

  • Music program

  • Regulation-size gymnasium

  • School classrooms

  • Library

  • Maker space and common room.
