Maimonides Medical Center 

Maimonides Medical Center is a non-profit, non-sectarian treatment facility and academic hospital located in Brooklyn, New York. The new Medical Arts Building will be a state-of-the-art facility located on Ninth Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets and will house the offices of Maimonides Doctors from many of the medical, surgical, and pediatric subspecialty programs. The Medical Arts Building will have seven floors and 140,000 square feet of space above-ground, with more than 100 exam and consultation rooms. The building design includes special teaming areas intended to improve communication between doctors, nurses and staff. Additional parking, up to 260 spaces, on two levels below the building. Maimonides has 711 beds, and more than 70 primary care and sub-specialty programs. As of August 1, 2016, Maimonides Medical Center is an adult and pediatric trauma center, and Brooklyn's only pediatric trauma center.
