Raising the Standard, One Beam at a Time.
J.C. Steel Erectors played a significant role in the redevelopment of JFK Terminal One, delivering complex structural steel and precast erection across multiple phases of the project. The scope included erecting the enclosure surrounding the existing AirTrain, a highly coordinated effort that required precision construction while maintaining uninterrupted airport operations. In addition, J.C. Steel was responsible for the Southeast quad of the terminal one headhouse, followed by the East Pier structure.

In total, the project encompassed approximately 9,700 tons of structural steel and more than 750 precast concrete components. The work demanded detailed planning, close collaboration with project partners, and exacting execution within one of the world’s busiest airport environments, demonstrating J.C. Steel’s capability to deliver large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects with efficiency and accuracy.
